Traveling Forward
A New Year
A new beginning, a new start for some, a new life. So many think that starting new the first of the year will change the life they live. They make resolutions and promises they can’t keep. It’s nice to think its a new year a, new start, the beginning of something great. I feel a resolution or promise is a goal too hard to reach. I feel better saying I will try harder, try new things, learn more. These I can accomplish, so much more reality.
Moving On
Travel when you can,
Within your mind
Or down a road you may find.
See the memories of days gone by,
Or find a new one
To store within your mind.
See the trees, the mountains afar,
Feel the breeze, watch a falling star.
Tranquility and peace, on a moonlit night,
These things all lead to new roads
And inspiring sights.
