The Ability to Adjust and Relax
The ability to adjust and relax somehow gets lost when I attempt to edit in Lightroom or Photoshop. Recently we learned the different ways to change color to monochrome. When I’m on my own photographing, I can relax. Over spring break, I took a day and went to a place called Hawk Creek. We’ve camped there many times and it has a large waterfall, it was a very fun, relaxing day. We also went out for our class to Finch Arboretum to photograph trees (my favorite), water, rocks, pinecones, this was a cold day but fun! I can be in my own mind at these times, but when I’m back and trying to edit in LR or PS, I can no longer relax. The anxiety and frustration become forefront. I realize the more I learn the easier it should become. At this time I feel as though I’m walking through deep mud and get stuck. When I finally pull my foot free, I lose my boot and step barefoot in the mud! But you keep going on because it would make no sense to turn around.
